What is Suzuki Early Childhood Education (SECE?)
SECE is a mixed age class that introduces musical concepts to children from newborn-age four. In addition to hearing and playing instruments, children learn social and literacy skill through songs, poems and rhymes. There are many opportunities for parent-child bonding in this interactive class that features live singing and many different instruments. In the nurturing and encouraging class environment, children are invited to participate according to their developmental level. This class prepares children to take instrumental music lessons.

How long is the class?
This class meets once a week for approximately 45 minutes.

Do I need to stay with my child?
Yes. Parents participate in the class alongside their child. In fact, your child will learn to sing and do the hand motions by watching you!
Can I bring multiple children?
Yes, absolutely! Please be aware that the activities in this class are designed for one adult per child. If you have multiple children, consider bringing a spouse, grandparent, friend, etc, who will be with the other child.
What is the cost?
Monthly tuition is $80, or $23 per class. Register and pay here
I don't have any musical experience. Can I still bring my child to the class?
Absolutely! Previous musical experience is not required for the parents. We only ask parents to commit to being present and engaged.
